The UM Risk Science Center hosting an event: "Why is it Hard to Pivot Based on Science?" looking at why it is difficult for leaders (political, business, civic) to change positions when scientific evidence changes. We hope this will be of interest to biology students!

This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and advance registration is required. We do expect this event to book fully.

- Rhona Applebaum, Vice President and Chief Science and Health Officer, Coca-Cola Company
- Andrew Hoffman, University of Michigan Holcim (US) Professor of Sustainable Enterprise and Director of the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise
