A few of us were thinking about gathering on a regular (weekly?) basis to discuss angiosperm evolution. Currently, potential discussion group members include Ya Yang, Stephen Smith, Rob Massati, and myself.
Proposed readings have included Stebbins "Flowering Plants" and a newly published book on the angiosperm fossil record by Friis, Crane, and Pedersen entitled "Early flowers and angiosperm evolution".
