APHIS PPQ’s Science and Technology is recruiting for an APHIS Science Fellow- Entomologist (SIT).
This APHIS Science Fellow Entomologist (SIT) position will focus on the harmonization and implementation of new technologies in the mass production of fruit flies for use in Sterile Insect Technique (SIT). The work involves reviewing SIT production practices and initiating process improvements through the adaptation of scientifically based methods, techniques, and technologies for maintaining a constant reliable source of sterile fruit flies for SIT activities.
