The Biology Teaching Assistant Project (BioTAP) is extremely excited to announce the Third Annual BioTAP Virtual Conference to be held on Monday, October 26, 2020, 12 - 4:15 EST. All talks are related to graduate teaching assistant professional development for teaching – with an emphasis on research on this topic. Attached is the schedule of talks as well as a second attachment with the abstracts for each talk.
Dr. Lindsay Wheeler (University of Virginia) will be the keynote for the conference (Networking for Change: Improving Teaching Professional Development Through Connections, Collaboration, and Community) and will speak about strategies to overcome the challenges of creating and doing research on teaching professional development for GTAs, as well as research areas she thinks need greater attention from the community.
