Ecology Education Program Leader at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies

Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies seeks a talented educator to bring cutting edge ecology to K-12 students and educators and help advance the field of ecology education. This is a full-time, ongoing position for someone with a degree in one of the natural sciences, or in education (advanced degree preferred), starting no later than September 2019. The Institute’s education programs include professional development and instructional resources for teachers (see here), as well as intensive field-based experiences for youth (see here), including the Ecology and Art+Science Camps, the Hudson Data Jam student competition and the Young Environmental Science research experience program for high school students. The Program Leader will help to expand and shape the next generation of Institute programming to reach both regional and national audiences. The position posting can be found here.
