Biology Education Postdoc at Binghamton University (SUNY)

I'm happy to re-announce the following DBER post-doctoral position in my research program at Binghamton University (SUNY).

The position was mistakenly inactivated in a university budget-related job freeze in the fall and it took a lot of forms and red-tape to remedy that situation.

So, please share this post-doctoral research opportunity with colleagues and recent graduate students. Detailed information and an online application link can be found at the following:

Biology Education Postdoctoral Fellowship
Focused on STEM Education Reform and Organizational Change

The Withers laboratory in the Biological Sciences Department at Binghamton University, SUNY, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biology Education and Research with a strong focus in STEM education reform at the departmental and organizational level. The post-doctoral fellow will aid in design, implementation and evaluation of a STEM education reform project working at the level of departments and starting in the Biological Sciences.

Binghamton University is poised for meaningful comprehensive STEM reform. There is much momentum and potential for transformation due to strong administrative support, an engaged Center for Learning and Teaching, and a successful Freshman Research Immersion program, modeled after UT-Austin, that has put the need for curricular reform on the radar of most faculty.

The position is a 2-year term that may begin as early as January 1, 2019. Continuation in the position beyond the 2-year term is dependent upon acquisition of external funding.
Include:
1) a cover letter,
2) a current CV,
3) contact information for three professional references
Application Review Timeline
Review of applications will begin on Friday, November 9, 2018 and will continue until the position is filled.
