Free Career & Education Counseling. We provide free career and education counseling to people of all genders and demographics, taking extra steps to recognize cultural, age-related, gender or sexual identity, and other societal factors that may present unique barriers.Free Events & Workshops. Continually changing in response to the evolving needs of the U-M community, we offer a variety of engaging speakers, workshop topics, and events for all.U-M Scholarships, Fellowships, and Emergency Funding. For U-M students, staff, faculty, and the surrounding community, we offer funding opportunities to help with a range of situations and life circumstances.Staff and Faculty Advocacy Initiatives. Through a variety of initiatives, task forces, groups, and organizations, we lift up and make space for diverse voices.Social Work Internship Program. We offer comprehensive, customizable, and engaging supervised internships for U-M School of Social Work students in Counseling or Program & Project Management.Student Study Space. Visit our designated student space - a safe and welcoming place where you can study, network, or just hang out and relax.Student Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB works to inform and advise CEW+ leadership on the challenges faced by students, with a focus on the unique needs of underserved, and underrepresented students.Other Initiatives. Other initiatives include the Council for Nontraditional Students (COUNTS) for students, staff, and faculty, and the CEW+ Scholar Community for current and past CEW+ Scholars.
