Job Description: The Science Learning Center serves approximately 3,000 students each semester through its Peer-Led Study Group Program. The SLC seeks a graduate student to assist with administrative details related to the program. Depending on the time of the semester, these details might include: coordinating materials for new facilitator training, ensuring that facilitators are signed up for topic workshops, ensuring that cancelled study groups are being made up, assisting with sending out surveys and processing survey responses, following up with facilitators about the goals they set during training, developing a weekly newsletter, managing the study group calendar, coordinating study group observations, and assisting with facilitator interviews.
Job Requirements: Must be a current graduate student enrolled at the UM with demonstrated interest and/or experience in the sciences and/or student development or academic support. Must be highly organized with outstanding communication skills. Must demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Must have ability to work some flexible hours; some evenings and weekends required.
