International Institute Student Fellowships Application opens: December 1, 2017

The International Institute and its affiliated centers offer a number of awards for U-M Ann Arbor students, regardless of citizenship, who wish to participate in internships or conduct research outside the U.S. and its territories beginning on/after May 1, 2018.
The II Student Fellowships application (IISF) is the common application for several International Institute fellowships, including some from II centers. The IISF Application will prompt applicants to select the award(s) for which they wish to apply.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:
- Student enrolled in a U-M Ann Arbor degree program who will return for at least one semester prior to graduation after completion of project abroad
- Projects must start no earlier than May 1, 2018 and cannot extend past May 31, 2019
- All projects must be at least one month in length and meet all requirements of the University Travel Policy and the Institutional Review Board
- Internships should be a 30-hour-per-week time commitment
- Funding is not available for language study or service learning
