The Slavic Department offers advanced courses in Russian (fourth- and fifth-year) and Polish (fourth-year) for graduate credit. If you are interested in taking one of these courses, perhaps to brush up on speaking skills for research travel purposes, please contact slavic@umich.edu to schedule a placement test. The instructor of fourth-year Polish creates a schedule based on the students who are enrolled, so it is especially important to schedule your placement test as soon as possible.
