Working as a Government Scientist: Q&A with Leon Carl from USGS

Hi All,

I am pleased to inform you that we will be having a professional development Q&A about being a government scientist! The Midwest regional director of USGS, Leon Carl, will be meeting with us for a Q&A. Leon got his PhD from UM. He is a fisheries biologist and has worked as a government scientist in both the US and Canada. Here is Leon's Bio:

I think this Q&A will be great, not only can Leongive us info. about what it's like to be a govt. biologist, but since he is a bigwig, he can also tell us what it takes for young scientists to get their foot in the door.
