Registration deadline for WCTF Career Conference is Friday, February 28!

This is a quick reminder that registration for the annual Women of Color Task Force (WCTF) Career Conference will close on Friday, February 28, 2014.

The keynote lecture at Hill Auditorium is open to the general public, but registration is required to attend all other conference events.

Conference Theme: "Transforming the Face of Leadership"
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Mae Jemison, former NASA astronaut & principal of the 100 Year Starship Project
Special remarks will be given by President Mary Sue Coleman and Senior Vice Provost Lester Monts.

Attendees may select from 32 professional and personal development workshop sessions. Selected workshops to be presented at the conference include:

* Leadership From the Ground Up
* Strategies for Creating Winning & High Performance Teams
* Returning to School: Building Your Support Networks
* She's Got It: A Woman's Guide to Saving and Investing (TIAA-CREF)
* Responding to Change: Embracing It Boldly and Moving Forward Strategically
* Use Social Media to Be Productive Everywhere!
* Within Reach: Transitioning From Career to Retirement (TIAA-CREF)

Conference fees: $75 UM Students & Retirees / $120 - U-M Staff & Faculty/External Registrants

This event is open to all U-M personnel and the general public.
