The Organization for Tropical Studies is a non-profit consortium of over 60 universities and research institutes from the U.S. , Latin America and Australia. Since 2007 OTS offers several 2-week graduate specialty courses. The goal of specialty courses sponsored by the Organization for Tropical Studies is to train a new generation of scientists and leaders by offering short courses that address current and pressing questions in the fields of tropical biology, ecosystem processes, ecosystem health, systematics and conservation.
We think the students at the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department may benefit from participating in the 2013 courses: Ecology and Conservation of Netropical Rivers, Aquatic Entomology, and Amphibian Decline and Global Changes in the Neotropics.
