DESCRIPTION:
We are searching for an individual with expertise in data visualization and design, who will establish, conduct and effectively manage projects in data and network visualization, working with members of the Center for Complex Network Research and BarabásiLab (www.barabasilab.com) at Northeastern University in Boston. There are also collaborative opportunities with other labs (lead by Professors Lazer and Vespignani). We seek individuals with demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and shift priorities as organizational demands require. Solid experience in data visualization and graphic design/presentation software and tools. Salary is competitive and commensurate with background and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's required (Master preferred) in information design and data visualization or a related field and demonstrated expertise in the following:
• Programing: JavaScript, Processing, Python
• Graphic Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign
• Web Design: Dreamweaver
