I am excited to share the following job ad with you (see below, or follow the link at the bottom to the ad in Science). Reed is conducting a tenure track search this fall for a computational biologist. I, of course, will be thrilled to have a new colleague working in the area of bioinformatics/computational biology and would be really grateful if you would pass this add on to talented folks who might be interested in applying.
I have been at Reed for a little over a year and can give anyone who might be curious the scoop on what a research-oriented small liberal arts college is like. In short-- the students are outstanding and the financial support for research is amazing. The quality of life in Portland, given the proximity of mountains, rivers, and coast, isn't too bad either.
Please pass this announcement on to your post-docs and colleagues or anyone else who might be interested in the position and let them know they may also feel free to contact me with questions if they wish .
All best,
Sarah
