Assistant Professor ‐ Neurobiology
Tenure‐track position with teaching assignments in Introduction to Neurobiology and either Human Physiology, Comparative Anatomy of Vertebrates, or Endocrinology; plus participation in introductory biology. Development of new undergraduate or masters‐level courses is also possible. A Ph.D. in neurobiology (or related field) with post‐doctoral research or teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates whose research and teaching interests focus on health‐related aspects of biology. Tenure‐track faculty members are expected to maintain active research programs which engage undergraduate students and lead to peer‐reviewed publications. Research space and start‐up funding are provided.

Lecturer (Introductory Biology): Full-time continuing position. Duties will include collaborating with other faculty members in teaching labs and lectures in the multi-section Introduction to Organismal and Environmental Biology course and occasional labs in Introduction to Molecular and Cellular Biology. A master’s or doctoral degree in biology and previous teaching experience are required. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in science pedagogy.
