My name is Sam Vandervelde; I am the Head of School at Proof School, an independent secondary school in San Francisco for kids who love math. Since we have a faculty opening in biology for the 2018-2019 academic year, I’m writing to ask whether you would be willing to distribute our position announcement to your graduate students.
Teaching at Proof School is fulfilling and meaningful, with most of our faculty having earned a PhD in their respective fields. We work with some of the Bay Area's strongest students across the curriculum, many of whom travel over an hour each way to attend school. Our very small community means we know each well. Teaching at Proof School carries the potential to make a significant, positive impact in the life and education of our students.
