CGD image banner
Register by 16 January for the early bird discount. Evolutionary Systems Biology 2018 will provide a forum for scientists interested in applying systems and mechanistic approaches to understand evolution.

The programme will feature the evolution of biological systems at different levels: from genes and molecules to organism development and physiology. Particular emphasis will be placed on understanding evolution through mechanistic biology. View the draft programme.

The conference will be of particular interest to those working at the interface of evolution, quantitative genetics and systems biology. We welcome abstracts from all areas relevant to the main themes of the meeting, for both oral and poster presentations. A limited number of bursaries are available for PhD students.

Visit the conference website for full details.
Topics will include:
  • Fitness landscapes
  • Systems biology
  • Evolution at one locus
  • Evolution of regulatory networks
  • Evolution of complex traits
  • Variance and noise
  • Non-genetic inheritance
