President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program - University of Minnesota

The new University of Minnesota President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) has now launched in association with the University of California Partnership for Faculty Diversity. The ultimate goal of this program is to increase faculty diversity  by initially offering a mentored postdoctoral fellowship that includes professional development focused on skills required for becoming successful tenure-track faculty at a research-intensive institute, such as the University of Minnesota. It is hoped that we can attract to Minnesota "rising stars" from diverse backgrounds who are early in their careers. This increases the potential for PPFP high fliers to be subsequently recruited to faculty positions at the U following fellowship completion.
