AWIS at UM and MCDB's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion panel is excited to announce a new career development workshop with SciPhD! SciPhD specializes in training scientists who are interested in transitioning from academia to non-acedemic careers. SciPhD will aid participants identify key skills required for industry positions, based on the participant's interests. The workshop will help these participants build experience statements and targeted resumes according to a job listing of their choosing. Additionally, speakers Randy Ribaudo and Larry Petcovic will help participants make a critical evaluation of their skills that translate to SciPhD's 24 core competencies that are valued by hiring companies.
