Dear Colleague:
For early career scientists, connections matter. Whether it’s being inspired by the latest findings, meeting new people, or talking about a potential collaboration, connecting with others can shape a career.
To help our members attend conferences where these connections are possible, graduate student and postdoctoral members of GSA can apply for DeLill Nasser Travel Awards for Professional Development in Genetics.
Awards of $1,000 each will be presented for travel to national and international conferences or laboratory courses occurring between July 1-December 31, 2017.
The funds can be used to support attendance at any conference or course that will enhance professional development in genetics, including research conferences and career skills workshops.
A DeLill Nasser Travel Award is meant to recognize scientific achievement by our early career members. Recipients are selected based on productivity and significance of research. Please see the award description for details.
GSA cares about supporting early career scientists. Please spread the word about the DeLill Nasser Award among colleagues, students, and postdocs. Don’t miss this chance to make lifelong connections.
Yours very truly,
