The National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID) is accepting applications for grants to support research, scholarship and change. This is an effort to engage the U-M community in innovative, evidence-based strategies that will advance diversity, equity and inclusion in academia and society and that will bear strong potential to become national exemplars. Our grants program approach encourages applications by teams of faculty, staff, and students and/or external stakeholders, given our goal of supporting synergistic collaboration among scholars and practitioners. This year the NCID will begin by offering 10-12 grants of up to $3,000 per project for seed funding. Over the next year, NCID plans to expand the program to also include larger scholarship-to-practice grant opportunities. Interested applicants may apply by Friday, March 31st.
