Ottawa National Forest Biological Science Technician

The Ottawa National Forest is seeking applicants for several temporary summer positions, listed in the attached document.

I want to draw your attention to the Biological Science Technician (Plants) position here at our Ironwood Office.  This will be a GS-7 position conducting plant surveys, earning $19.49 an hour, starting mid to late May.  This is a new opportunity on the Ottawa and we’re hoping to find some talented and enthusiastic applicants!

The Ottawa National Forest is one million acres of public land in the beautiful western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Habitats include forests, wetlands, rock bluffs, river valleys, and lakes.  Over 60 sensitive and state-listed species occur on the Ottawa.
