International Institute Student Fellowships The International Institute and its affiliated centers offer a number of awards for U-M students (of all academic levels and from all colleges and schools) wishing to participate in internships or conduct research outside the U.S. Maximum funding amounts range from $2,500-$10,000, depending on the award.   Available awards Learn more about available awards, eligibility criteria, and maximum award amounts: International Institute Individual Fellowships II Samo Alajbegović Fellowships Rackham International Research Awards African Studies Center (ASC) Research or Internship Support in Africa Armenian Studies Program (ASP) Summer Research Grants Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LACS) Field Research Grants for Graduate Students There is ONE application (opens Dec. 1) for all of the II-administered awards listed above. The deadline is February 15 at 11:59pm. This application is for ALL of the awards listed to the left (subject to eligibility).
