Summer Research Grants

Research grants are designed to support summer research and projects related to Armenian studies.

Eligibility: 
- Applicants for research grants may be at preliminary or more advanced stages of their research
- Applicants must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree programs at the University of Michigan

Travel Grants


Deadline: Rolling
Travel grants are designed to support field work and Armenian Studies-focused conference participation. 



Eligibility:
- Applicants must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree programs at the University of Michigan

Please join the ​Armenian Students' Cultural Association (ASCA)
on 
Monday, March 14th at 6pm in 3314 Mason
for ​the first ever 
Armenian Opportunities Fair

 

​ASCA will be bringing in representatives of organizations that work abroad or domestically within the Armenian community. Organizations represented will include: 

- Birthright Armenia
- Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR)
- Armenian Assembly Internship Program in DC

These are life-changing summer and post-graduation opportunities!
 
Alumni of most programs will be on-site to talk about their experiences.
Not all programs are exclusively for those of Armenian heritage! 
 
Free pizza and delicious Armenian ​​specialties, cheese and spinach boereg, will be served!


Birthright Armenia: Reconnects young adults with their Armenian heritage by placing them in internships in a domain of their choosing. Participants live with host families and take language classes. A great opportunity with a flexible time frame!

Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief: A volunteer program for young adults of ANY background to help provide humanitarian relief to orphans in Armenia. Works in a variety of sectors, including dental health.​

Armenian Assembly Internship Program: An 8-week program internship program in Washington DC for young adults of Armenian descent. Perfect for anyone interested in a career with the government, politics, or working with an NGO. Build your resume and meet other Armenians!
