University of Michigan Serial Innovator Camp  - Hosted by Procter & Gamble, Microsoft and Intel

This unique half-day session brings together students from diverse scientific disciplines who share a common passion for innovation for a half-day of immersion in industrial innovation techniques and challenges. A crucial part of this experience will be the opportunity for close collaboration with several of industry’s most successful and experienced innovators in a small-group setting. Together, you will examine a range of problem definition and solving techniques and put them into practice on a challenging real-world problem. You will gain new capability that can be applied to your current academic work and learn what it takes to be a successful innovator in industry.

This Serial Innovator experience offers:
  • New appreciation for what cutting-edge business building innovation is all about … and how it differs from “invention”
  • Enhanced creative problem solving skills and tools
  • Understanding of the mindset required to lead innovation from idea to market
  • Opportunity to interact with and be inspired by industrial innovator role models
