Marian University Assistant Professor in Biology

Marian University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position at
the rank of assistant or associate professor of Biology, beginning August, 2016.
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in undergraduate Ecology,
Vertebrate Zoology, Invertebrate Zoology, introductory courses in biology, and an
upper level course as appropriate to degree specialization. Normal teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, supervising undergraduate research and department, school, and university-wide
service and committee work.

A Ph.D. in Biology with specialty in Animal Ecology, Vertebrate Zoology,
Invertebrate Zoology and/or Wildlife Management and a minimum of 2 years of
successful experience in post-secondary teaching is required. Willingness to
support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
