Applications are invited for a 3-year postdoc on a project entitled "Constant Final Yield of Plant Communities", funded by the Danish Natural Science Research Council. Using greenhouse and field experiments, the project investigates whether the population-level phenomenon called Constant Final Yield can be applied to plant communities (see Weiner & Freckleton 2010 Ann. Rev. Ecol. Evol. & Syst.). Applicants should have a Ph.D. in plant ecology or a related field, as well as experience in experimental plant ecology and applied statistics. The postdoc will manage project on a daily basis, so good interpersonal and English language skills are also important.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within Plant Ecology as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment are based on the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 405,501 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 69,341). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
