Serial Innovator Program: Discover the Innovator in You
Monday, September 28, 2015 - 5:00pm to 6:30pm
Location: 2150 Dow, North Campus

Are you seeking to build on your technical talent to become a successful innovator? At this session, industry leaders from Procter & Gamble, Intel and Microsoft will share with you how individuals create and deliver breakthrough innovations in mature firms. Based on the work of Professors Raymond Price and Bruce Vojak (U Illinois) and Abbie Griffin (U Utah), participants will be introduced to the concept of a Serial Innovator by Dr. Bruce Vojak. A serial innovator is someone who reapplies certain principles and tools to deliver innovative solutions to important problems. Industry leaders from Procter and Gamble, Intel and Microsoft will give an overview of reoccurring themes that Price and Vojak discovered while studying and interviewing individuals from companies with an innovation heritage. After Dr. Vojak's introduction, the corporate representatives will share their personal examples of serial innovation. This is a rare opportunity to have these leaders share tangible ideas to give you traction in a growing approach to industry work. Information about working for Procter & Gamble, Intel and Microsoft will be provided at the end of the meeting. Pizza will be served.
