Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) Symposium

On Friday, March 20th, Rackham Graduate School will be hosting the 2015 Spring AGEP SymposiumThe AGEP Alliance is a partnership with other Michigan universities to provide both academic and social support to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, particularly those who plan to pursue an academic career, from diverse social and academic backgrounds. This event is a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary and cross institutional exchange and dialogue.

The event will begin with lunch and a keynote address from one of own graduates, Dr. Catherine Espaillat, who is now tenure track faculty at Boston University. 
You can chose to present from one or more of the following presentation formats: 
  1. Poster presentation
  2. Research paper
  3. Round table discussion on an aspect of your research, topics related to graduate education, preparation of future faculty, etc. 
  4. Intellectual autobiography is a six-minute presentation of how your personal history and professional activities inevitably intertwine to shape your identity as a researcher.
