Seasonal field botanist positions with Chippewa National Forest

Greetings.  Attached is an announcement for this year’s seasonal Biological Technician(Plants) positions on Chippewa National Forest in northern Minnesota.  The primary focus of these positions is finding and identifying rare species.  I will very much appreciate you sharing this announcement with your students, contacts, and recent graduates.  Applications must be received between January 28 and February 3, 2015.

These positions are being hired at the GS-5 level, so at the time of application they require a 4-year degree, coursework summing to the equivalent of a 4-year degree, or experience for a year at the next lower grade.  Obviously, this may exclude many undergraduates, but recent graduates, graduate students, and students with previous degrees or more credit hours may qualify.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.    Jeremy
