Sustainability Internships at Wayne State Summer 2014 - Apps due 2/1

This is a reminder to inform your students of internships offered through RISEUP: Research Internships for a Sustainable Environment with Undergraduate Participation at Wayne State University, sponsored by the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies. Applications for the undergraduate program are due by February 1st, 2014.
RISEUP is a 12-week summer research program that will pair qualified undergraduate students with professional mentors to study multiple-stakeholder environmental issues in the Lake St. Clair-Detroit-River-Lake Erie corridor.  Interns will receive a stipend of $4,800 for their work. Additional program details, as well as a flyer and application, can be found athttp://riseup.med.wayne.edu.
Though we had previously mentioned opportunities for graduate internships, we are no longer able to offer a graduate internship this year.
The RISEUP program is open to non-WSU students and is interdisciplinary in nature, so students from a variety of majors and schools are encouraged to apply.
